Registration Terms and Conditions

1. Access to the 16th International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant (ICMGP 2024) will only be confirmed on receipt of proof of payment.
2. Payment is due prior to the start of the Conference. 
3. Early Bird rates are valid from 1 August 2023 until 15 March 2024. Standard rates are valid from 16 March 2024 until 17 July 2024
4. All early bird fees must be paid by 15 March 2024. Failure to pay the early bird fee by such date will result in the delegate fees being amended to the standard registration fee.
6. An invoice with the conference bank details will be emailed to you along with your confirmation email. 
7. Once proof of payment has been received and cleared in the ICMGP 2024 Bank account, a confirmation of payment will be issued 
8. Proof of payment to be emailed to Stacey Lawrence at Stacey@soafrica.com 
9. Please ensure that all payments make clear reference to the delegate being paid for, with their unique Invoice number: Failure to do so could result in your payment not being identified in the bank account and therefore not being receipted.
10. All payments must be made payable to ICMGP 2024.
11. Registrations are only transferable to delegates who have not yet registered.
12.Delegates attending from countries outside South Africa are requested to make payment in South African Rands (ZAR) and are responsible for covering the full bank charges. The full delegate registration fee amount invoiced must appear in the ICMGP 2024 bank account. Should this not be the case, the delegate will need to pay the difference in cash on-site before being allowed to participate in the event.

Cancellation and Termination of Registrations

1. All cancellations must be received in writing by the Registration Manager – stacey@soafrica.com
2. Cancellations received on or before 15 January 2024 will receive a full refund, less a R500 administration fee.
3. Cancellation received between 15 January 2024 and 29 February 2024 will receive a 50% refund, less a R500 administration fee.
4. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after 29 February 2024.
5. Any registration received after 29 February 2024 will not be entitled to any refund or credit, and such person will be liable for the full registration fee, as above.
6.Refunds due will only be issued two weeks post the conference.
